September 7th - Madison Infoshop 20th Anniversary Variety Show and Fundraiser

The infoshop is turning 20! Time to celebrate with a Benefit Variety Show featuring the talents and skills of local artists and musicians.

4:00 pm Silent Auction begins, plus DIY skill shares on stenciling, button making, and ‘zines!

Pick up your free copy of this year’s Disorientation manual, a guide to radical hot spots, events and organizing in Madison, created by infoshop friends and volunteers.

Bring t-shirts (and whatever else) for decorating with the latest Infoshop stencil!

Admire banners and posters from the last 20 years of radical activism adorning the walls of the Wilmar while browsing auction items donated by local businesses and artists.

6:00 pm Bioregional Vegan Meal served by Infoshop volunteers.


Beverages: hand-crafted ginger ales and cold pressed Iced Just Coffee
Salad: tomato+sprouts salad with mulberry vinaigrette
Soup: lentil soup with smoked red peppers
Main Dishes: wild rice with walnuts and cranberries with nut-free option
butternut squash, kale, and peanut stew

7:30 pm Music and entertainment!
Tani Diakite and the AfroFunkstars, Thistle and Thorns and Miranda Moon with her unique fusion bellydance, local super-producer DJ Pain 1 will be mixing records between bands, plus other local artists and open mic time!

$15-$20 suggested donation with all proceeds going to keep the Madison Infoshop’s doors open. Our goal is to raise 2,000 bucks. With your help, we will reach it! A chance to win a fabulous door prize, a scrumptious vegan meal and stellar entertainment are all included in this price of entry.
